Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill

Costa Vida! I have a very long, distinguished, and pathetic relationship with this restaurant. My husband and I ate at a Costa Vida every week (sometimes twice a week) for a good 8 months because it was the only restaurant that we liked near our old house. Pathetic right!? But alas, we still love it and eat at the Logan Costa Vida since we moved here.

My staple entree is the small Pork Salad, no beans, no pico de gallo, no cilantro, extra tortilla strips and guacamole. The cost $6.99.

The flan is also pretty dang good as well as the key lime pie. They are each $3.99.

Of course we joined The Costa Club since we ate there so dang much. It's an easy app you download on your phone. All you do is scan the bare code at the bottom of your receipt and collect points. Once you spend $50 you get $4 off your next meal.

Pair that deal with the Valpak coupon (buy one entree and 2 drinks get one free entree) they send in the mail and you can save some more money.

HuHot Mongolian Grill

HuHot Mongolian Grill is a fun, casual restaurant, and a great place to take kids. "The Grill" is all you can eat where you choose a protein, noodles or rice, veggies, and a sauce. My kids love creating their own plates and watching them cooked on the giant grill.

Lunch is $9.99
Dinner is $13.99
Weekend/Holiday Lunch $10.99
Kids 3 and under are free
Kids 4-7 $.99
Kids 8-12 $2.99
The sauces....mmmm....the sauces. My husband and I went HOT.....HuHot! We tried the "Kung Pao...Yow!", "Five Village Fire Szechuan", and "Khan's Revenge." We loved all three and would get them again. Just make sure you have plenty of water at your table. There are also appetizers and desserts on the menu but we just stuck to the all you can eat grill.

HuHot Mongolian Grill is located at: 660 South Main Street.

The Crepery

Delicious, phenomenal, fantastically made crepes. My honey and I sneak away to The Crepery often. Our favorite time to go is late at night on the weekends. He usually eats 2 crepes while I sip my Chai Latte as we snuggle on the couch and talk late into the night. The menu includes savory and sweet crepes, salads, specialty drinks, and coffee. I am in love with the eclectic, fun, and relaxed atmosphere.
My favorites....the Pin Up, Minimalist, or Pepe Le Pesto crepes with a Chai Latte.

If you are ever in St. George check out The Crepery down there. We frequent that one often too.

The Logan Crepery is located at 540 South Main Street.

You get a buy one crepe get one free with the Cache Valley Direct card.  Always looking for a good deal!

Black Pearl China Bistro and Sushi Bar

The best place I have found to eat Chinese food in the valley is the Black Pearl Asian Bistro and Sushi. The prices are great and the service is fantastic. I am a succor for good Asian food. I once flew to Portland Oregon to eat Dim Sum at my favorite Asian restaurant, the award winning Wong's King Seafood Restaurant.  Boy howdy! That trip was so worth it. Mmmmm. Dim Sum. Did you know that there are more Chinese food restaurants in this country then McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Domino's, and Pizza Hut!?
Back to the "Black Pearl" (insert pirate voice). The best deal on the menu are the Pearl's Combo Plates for $8.50. It comes with ham fried rice (or chicken low mien for an extra $2), soup, an egg roll, 4 pieces of a California sushi roll, and an entree.

My favorite Combo....the hot and sour soup, ham fried rice, general tso's chicken or beef with broccoli, the California roll or the Spider roll is great too.

The Black Pearl is located at 2095 North Main Street.
